HOW TO BOOK
Please contact us to check that the dates you wish to book are available.
A Booking Form will be emailed to you
Provisional Bookings for Full Rental Holidays of more than 6 days
are held for up to 4 days awaiting receipt of the non-refundable Booking Deposit
(30% of Total Rental, minimum £100, whichever is the greater) &
your fully completed, signed & dated Booking Form.
On receipt of these a Booking Confirmation will be sent to you.
The Rental Balance + any Damage Deposit (if required) are due 7 weeks before arrival.
On receipt of these the Directions/Key Collection details will be sent to you.
Provisional Bookings for Short Breaks, ‘Offer’ Holidays &
Bookings within 7 weeks of arrival
are held for up to 2 days awaiting receipt of your fully completed, signed & dated Booking Form & the Total Rental + any Damage Deposit required which are payable by *Card only.
On receipt a Booking Confirmation & the Directions/Key Collection details will be sent to you
If you have any special requirements not mentioned in the
property details or Access Statements please ask
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the cottage information given & all information & statements provided by Anglesey Coastal Cottages or its representatives are made in good faith but without liability
On Confirmation of Booking a Contract is formed between the person who paid for the Booking & Anglesey Coastal Cottages. The person who paid is legally liable for the total cost of the holiday. Any delay in payment of the Rental Balance &/or Damage Deposit may result in your Booking being re-let.
Bookings are non-transferable. £30 is charged to alter a Confirmed Booking
Payment for fuel used, unless included in the Rental, is due before you vacate the property
Provided that everything is left in good order after your holiday any Damage Deposit paid will be credited to your Card within 10 days of departure
One ‘Offer’ only my be used per Booking
*2.5% is charged for Credit Card payments - Debit Card transactions are free of charge
Bookings are for family groups for the number of visitors/animals stated in the property details & on your Booking Form. There is an extra charge for each additional guest. Non-family groups may stay by special arrangement only. For Insurance purposes the number of visitors/ animals in the property must never exceed the number stated on your Booking Form unless agreed in advance with Anglesey Coastal Cottages.
Bookings usually begin at 3.00pm on the first day & end at 10.00am on the last day of your holiday to ensure that the cottages are thoroughly serviced between bookings. Should alternative arrangements for key collection be needed due to delayed/late arrivals or change of Arrival Day a charge may be levied.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the property booked is unavailable for your holiday Anglesey Coastal Cottages shall use its best endeavours to find alternative accommodation to the same standard but its liability shall be limited to the rental paid.
Anglesey Coastal Cottages want you to enjoy your holiday
On the very rare occasion that there is a problem with your accommodation please contact the Housekeeper or Anglesey Coastal Cottages as soon as possible to allow them to use their best endeavours to rectify things. No visitor complaints can be considered by Anglesey Coastal Cottages after you have vacated the property.
Anglesey Coastal Cottages welcomes friendly, quiet, house-trained, well groomed & flea-free dogs with current inoculations, worming & Third Party insurance. IT/THEY MUST BE KEPT OFF ALL FURNITURE , NEVER ENTER THE BEDROOMS NOR BE LEFT ALONE IN THE PROPERTY. Neither puppies, bitches in pup nor on heat are allowed. 1 dog staying is included in the Rental. There is a charge for each additional dog.
Animals, apart from dogs, are barred from the holiday property to ensure that visitors with certain allergies may book with confidence. Any breach of this Condition would render you legally liable should a related claim against Anglesey Coastal Cottages be made.
The person who paid for the Booking undertakes full responsibility for the security of the property & for the behaviour & safety of everyone, including dogs, stated on the Booking Form, as well as for any **friends or **relatives or **their children or **dogs who may 'pop in' to visit him/her or his/her party, at all times during the dates he/she booked. Please note that these **visitors are not covered by Anglesey Coastal Cottages' insurance.
Any annoyance caused to neighbours, breach of the Booking Conditions or the use of tents, caravans or camper vans within the curtilage of the property would entitle the Housekeeper or Anglesey Coastal Cottages to ask you to vacate the property to immediate effect without any refund or redress.
In the unfortunate event of damage, breakages, chips, cracks, stains, tears, burns, spills, bites, scratches, any ‘traces’ of dog inside or within the curtilage of the property, blocked drains, abnormal additional cleaning, abnormal additional laundry, re-location of furniture or contents, storage heaters left uncharged/tripped out (electricity for storage radiators is included in your rental), excessive fuel use, excessive refuse, unpleasant odours from dogs, cooking, smoking etc., un-necessary electrical or plumbing Call Out Charges, lost or mis-laid house keys, theft due to doors or windows left un-secured or items left outside, non-payment for fuel, vacating the property after 10am on your Day of Departure, full ‘compensation’* will be required. Anglesey Coastal Cottages reserves the right to debit your *Card &/or Damage Deposit in respect of this ‘compensation’*.
The property owner or their agent reserves the right to enter the property to carry out emergency repair work or for security reasons.
Grass cutting/gardening may need to take place place during your stay.
Mobile ‘phone reception is variable depending on your Service Provider.
Since the introduction of Digital TV reception is not always 100%.
Cots & highchairs are no longer provided due to the strenuous legal requirement for thorough sterelization & provision of a ‘new’ cot mattress for each ‘baby’ booking
Items left behind may be returned on receipt of a minimum payment of £20.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
Cancellation Insurance, including redundancy cover, is included in the Full Rental & Early Bird holidays of more than 6 days until 31 December 2012. No Cancellation Insurance is included for non-UK residents, Short Break or ‘Offer’ holidays but it is available as an Extra
To cancel a Booking written details must be sent to Anglesey Coastal Cottages.
If Cancellation Insurance was included in your holiday you may apply for a refund from J L Morris (Insurances) Ltd. If the reason for cancellation of your holiday is not covered by the Cancellation Insurance policy or if Cancellation Insurance was not included in your holiday rental we will endeavour to re-let your dates booked. If the dates are re-let partly or fully you will be refunded pro-rata any monies already paid to Anglesey Coastal Cottages for your booking less the cost of the Cancellation Insurance premium (if it was included in your Rental) & a minimum of £35 for our Handling Costs incurred in the re-letting.
